Senior Civil Engineer (Benchmarking)

CCS has developed a number of Quality Toolkits which are currently
being used to benchmark construction performance on a number of
contracts province wide. They are a 5 member team with a thriving
workload and are looking to recruit a Manager to head up the
Performance Measurement sector of their business and join them in
creating a culture of Continuous Improvement.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise with their
clients and attend monthly progress meetings, delivering monthly
Performance Benchmarking Reports.
You will be required from time to time to carry out Civil Quality
Audits looking at the Civil Construction, Site Environment, Health
and Safety. In conducting the Performance Benchmarking on site,
you will be checking the processes set in place by the Contractor,
quality of materials and workmanship, monitoring Health, Safety
and Environmental Working Practices and recommending any
improvements in line with Best Practice.
With training and assistance, the successful candidate will be
required to develop and implement Performance Measurement
Strategies for client organizations to help monitor performance
and capture the necessary information to build up Construction
KPIs to the industry standard.
The successful candidate will be required to review performance
benchmarking toolkits and take the lead in developing new toolkits
to roll out into new areas of business and add to our existing
suite of toolkits.
Requirements

Civil Engineer / Construction Manager
-
Experience in the setting out and/or detailing of concrete
structures
-
Knowledge of NEC contracts and partnering.

Familiar with statutory environmental legislation and the
constraints imposed

Knowledge of Water and Wastewater Treatment Processes would be
advantageous

Attending Project Workshops from time to time, team building
etc…

Good presentation skills (training can be provided)
Qualifications (desirables)

Streetworks Chapter 8 - NIRAC would be advantage.

Ceequal Coordinator, training can be provided

NEC – Working knowledge of, additional training can be provided
