Lough Macrory WTW site
(Contract Value £10m)
Based on Site as lead Project Manager pursuing M4i status for the Lough Macrory WTW, challenging the industry to 'Rethink Construction' to achieve increased client satisfaction, Respect for People and their safety and improved profitability for all.


Enniskillen Sewer Improvement Scheme Phases 2&3 (Contract Value £3m)
Upgrading of the Sewerage Network to accommodate current and future foul sewer capacity and provide adequate storm facilities, minimising discharges into Lough Erne during severe rainfall. Appointed as role of Supervisor under the NEC Engineering And Construction Contract Option C: Target Contract with Activity Schedule. 

Duties include implement project concept with the Project Manager, assist in risk/value workshops, liaise with local representatives of DRD Water Service, Statutory Authorities, deal with land ownership issues and assist with the acceptance of contractor designs.


Site Supervisors

Our Site Supervisors are involved in the implementation of a number of Major Schemes within the Water Industry under NEC and traditional procurement methods.

CCS Supervisor appointed on the New Culmore WWTW EC Compliance Scheme (£16m) set to be second largest waste water treatment facility in NI.

Site Supervision on the Valley Distribution Improvements Scheme, supervised the installation of the Trunk and Distribution Watermains, carrying out testing and commissioning. Collecting information for the design of new watermains to serve the Newcastle area and the design of new Fofanny Reservoir to rationalise the distribution system in Eastern and Southern Division under the Valley Scheme and North Down Strategic Trunkmain Review.

Supervisor on the Strabane WWTW EC Compliance Scheme (£6.7m).  This scheme entailed the construction of new settlement tanks, extension to administration building and outlet screens, along with refurbishment of existing tanks and administration building. 

As supervisor, main duties include:

overseeing piling
installation of temporary sheet piling
inspection of reinforcing
shuttering, concrete pouring and building service installations and liaising with   Design Engineers regarding Contractors queries as they arise.

Supervisor on the construction of Lough Fea WTW EC Compliance Scheme, (£6.3m) with a capacity of 17.3million l/day, supplying 45,000 population. This scheme entailed the construction of new settlement tanks, extension to administration building and outlet screens, along with refurbishment of existing tanks and administration building.

Supervisor on the Waringstown WWTW and upgrade works,
Contract Value £3 million.

Co-ordinator on 'Leakage & Pressure Management' programme, liaising with Consultant Engineers, the Contractor and Water Service Supply and Distribution Staff to fit PRV's at locations identified through the programme.

Site Supervision on District Mag Metering Contract - role entailed gathering information (confirming pipe sizes and location of mains) and liaison with HPTO and PTO staff to arrange planned shut downs on trunkmains for 165 mag installations.

Attended all site meetings and monthly project meetings and providing weekly   update on contractor performance to programme.


GIS Personnel Contracts

CCS have a number of qualified GIS professionals seconded into Engineering Consultants across Northern Ireland. These experienced personnel are actively working on Water Service Zonal Studies, Water Mains Rehabilitation and Environmental Management System (EMS) contracts.

Many are located within the Network Information Centres (NIC) manipulating water and sewer network data, digitising paper records, data validation and reporting tasks using Water Service's corporate Network Information Management System (NIMS).
