The following outlines past and present projects, all of which show CCS's GIS and GPS Consulting Solutions

Scoping, Delivering, Implementing of Web GIS solution

CCS Surveying recently delivered a new Web Based solution for one of the largest utility contractors in Ireland. The solution operates on a Bentley platform using GeoWeb Publisher. The benefits to the client include; live access to the ESB network records / readily available site ‘prints’ showing ESB network locations / H&S compliant i.e. ESB data always on site for dig purposes.
The data handling tasks performed by CCS include data auditing of existing Ordnance Survey map data and end client utility network datasets.

Further to the auditing element of this project, CCS had a large data conversion function to perform on the map data. Automatic routines were set up to cater for this large volume of data which processes continuously over a period of time.

Regular checks were performed on the process and any issues arising were resolved. Once again, all data is stored securely and hosted on a web server where the client has access to the system.

GIS Personnel Contracts

CCS Surveying have a number of their qualified GIS professionals seconded into Engineering Consultants across Northern Ireland. These experienced personnel are actively working on Water Service Zonal Studies, Water Mains Rehabilitation and Environmental Management System (EMS) contracts. Many are located within the Network Information Centres (NIC) manipulating water and sewer network data, digitising paper records, data validation and reporting tasks using clients corporate Information Management Systems.
